Our sausages are made using 100% NZ grass fed beef, chicken and pork, sourced from trusted NZ farmers.

 

The sausage is a people pleaser. It feeds Dad. It feeds the kids. It feeds the flatmates. Heck the sausage even helps raise funds for charities all over New Zealand. The versatile, over-delivering sausage is a staple here in Aotearoa so it really should be made from nothing but meat sourced right here in New Zealand, right? We certainly think so.

Like you, we like to feed our family the best. 

We’ve been on the hunt for an affordable family sausage brand for ages. Nothing fancy. Just classic, tasty sausages made with NZ meat, the traditional way. It’s not rocket science, so when we couldn’t find what we were looking for, we decided to do it ourselves. That’s how Born and Bred was… born. 

We’re a family business that has been working with local farmers and butchers for 20 years. Our goal is to give NZ families — just likes our own — a quality range of sausages.
